This page explains how the provider records on this site are built, where the information comes from, how it is checked, how missing information is handled, how corrections are made, and what commercial relationships exist. It is written so that a reader can audit the basis of any statement on the site.
Summary. Provider attributes are read only from the providers' own websites. A value is published only where the provider states it; otherwise the record says "Not publicly confirmed". No ratings, scores, reviews, prices, credentials or rankings are invented, and no provider can pay to change its record.
A provider is recorded when it is a real organisation that publicly describes accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, tax-compliance, cloud-accounting, business-advisory or related services for business clients in at least one European market, and when its own website provides enough information to populate the standard record fields. Selection is deliberately broad rather than evaluative: the directory includes international networks, national firms, regional practices, franchise networks and online subscription services, because different readers need to compare different kinds of provider. No provider pays for inclusion, and no provider is included because of a commercial relationship.
The directory lists the organisations that have been recorded and checked to date. It is not the complete market: no claim is made that all providers in any country are included, and the absence of a provider from the directory says nothing about that provider. The country guides explain how to verify an unlisted provider through the national register and the relevant professional body.
Attributes are taken from first-party sources on the provider's own website, such as service pages, client-segment pages, locations pages, software or tools pages, pricing pages where published, and legal notices or imprints. Where a fact is not stated by the provider, it is not inferred. Country-level background information, such as rates, registers and professional bodies, is taken from the sources cited on the relevant country page.
Each record is populated from a reading of the provider's own pages against a fixed list of permitted values, so the same field always means the same thing across providers. A value is only recorded where the site states it; where the site is silent, the field records 'Not publicly confirmed'. Records are re-read periodically and the date of the most recent reading is published on the profile.
Every profile and every row of the comparison table carries a last-checked date. That date states when the provider's published information was last read, and nothing more: it is not a warranty that the information is still accurate at the moment you read it. Because providers change their service lists, software and prices without notice, anything that affects a decision should be confirmed directly with the provider.
Missing information is displayed as 'Not publicly confirmed', and the field is left empty in the comparison table. Missing data is never estimated, inferred from a provider's size or reputation, or filled from another website. A profile with several unconfirmed fields is simply a provider that publishes less about itself, and the record says so plainly.
This site publishes no ratings, scores, star reviews, awards, trust badges, certifications, rankings or 'best in market' claims, because none of those can be supported by the sources used. It publishes no customer reviews or testimonials of its own. Where a provider publishes review or rating information on its own site, that remains the provider's statement and is not reproduced as an independent finding.
Anyone, including a provider, can report an error, an outdated figure, a changed service or a broken link. Reports are checked against the provider's own website and, where relevant, against a public register or professional body. Confirmed errors are corrected and the record is re-dated. The sites carry no affiliate links, no referral arrangements, no paid placements, no sponsorship and no advertising at the time of publication. Outbound links to provider websites are ordinary links with no tracking parameters and no commission arrangements. If that ever changes, the commercial disclosure page will state exactly what the relationship is, and it will be updated before the change takes effect.
